HIGHTOPPS BACKSTAGE GRILLE
Our client requested an indoor/outdoor bar area that would catch the attention of passersby on the perpetually busy York Road. Sanders Designs solution was a steeply-pitched heavy-timber scissors truss structure with a corrugated metal roof and translucent panels. The high peaked canopy provides a covered area for gathering and socializing while the stone wall provides protection from the parking. Along with the new bar area, two new ADA compliant restrooms and a cooking area were located in the adjacent structure, also designed by Sanders Designs.
