Sinclair Broadcast Group commissioned Sanders Designs to complete an interior renovation of 36,000 square feet of office space for their Television Broadcast Station in West Palm Beach, FL. Steps were taken to increase the ADA compliance and the means of egress. In addition, the building was upgraded to meet current energy usage requirements. The project was broken down into three phases in order to meet the accommodations needed by our client. The finished project will have four studios, a news and production space, sales and technical areas to support the operations of the studios.

We had to be very creative with this space since the existing structure did not lend itself to the clients program, but we did not want to needlessly inflate the construction cost by proposing outlandish solutions. The result was a good mix of utilizing the existing building to its fullest potential while meeting the client’s program goals.
