Sinclair Broadcast Group commissioned Sanders Designs to complete a total interior renovation to a 38,000 square foot building in order to become the home of two TV stations in El Paso, TX. Both the design and construction schedule was fast tracked in order for the studios and technical operations to be up and functioning before the “sweeps” time period. The program included two studios and computer technical support spaces. Open office news room and adjoining offices. Along with open office space for sales, production, advertising and news. The project was compelling because we were able to transform an existing office space in to a fully functional studio space although the building codes and uses were very different.
